![]() I’ll detail how this is achieved in the next post. No more emails from your team asking you to shoot them the link to the project □Īdd the programme timeline page above or below your programme summary page to give you and the team the complete programme overview. Drag the markers to the appropriate place in the timeline, give them a name and save the page.Īnd now we have it, an awesome looking programme roadmap that gives visibility to both yourself and your team! Furthermore, your team can quickly dive into the project documentation from the pop over as seen below. Looking great! Now let’s add in some markers for key milestones and dates. Go back into edit mode for the macro, click on ‘add marker’, add as many as you need. Let’s save the page to see what it’s looking like. You will then see a popover that will allow you to change the colour of the swim lane and it’s associated bars as seen below. But before I do, let’s see how we change the colour of a swim lane and its associated bars. Go into edit mode of the macro, click on the header for the given swim lane. I will then add those project bars to the appropriate swim lane. I am going to add a name, description and link to the project page for each of the projects in our programme. Now link up the bars to project documentation or other Confluence pages by linking to existing pages, or create new pages directly from this pop-up. ![]() This is a really useful feature, especially when your team just want a quick overview of what the bar represents, but don’t want to jump into the project documentation. Similarly, you can give the give the bar a description. Click on a bar and you’ll see the pop-over allowing you to name the bar. Go back into edit mode of the page and double click on the macro to edit it. “Dependencies” to display key periods that the team need to be aware of, such as client holidays or events such as Christmas.“Pipeline” projects that are likely to happen but yet to be formalised approved by the client.“Approved” for all projects that have been approved by the client. In our example we are going to create 3 swim lanes: With a click and drag gesture of your mouse or trackpad you can drag the bars up and down the timeline, drag the bars into other swim lanes, and modify the bars duration by dragging out their start and end dates. When you’re in the edit view of the roadmap macro it is super simple to move the bars around. Set the displayed start and end date of the roadmap.Toggle between weeks or months in which your roadmap will be displayed.Create markers to display key milestones or dates. ![]() Add new bars which you can then drag across and into the swim lanes.Add a lane to break up the view into discrete swim lanes. You will now see the default view of the Roadmap planner macro for you to edit. In macro modal screen, search for ‘roadmap planner’ macro then select it. Pretty sweet hey!Ĭreate a new page and call it ‘Programme timeline’ then from the macro dropdown select ‘other macros’. In this post we’re going to create a visual roadmap for this programme of work and here’s what it’s going to look like. In the last the post we looked at how to create a summary page for a programme of work using the page properties and pages properties report macros.īelow is an image of the summary page that was created. Let’s have a look at what we’re going to build. Once you have read this post you’ll be on your way to dominating the road-mapping game :). ![]() This roadmap will give your team visibility over their current and future work streams, dependencies on internal or external events and deep linking to the confluence pages documenting the individual projects in detail. In this post, we’ll look at how to create an awesome roadmap using Confluence’s road mapping planner macro. ![]() But that drivetrain combination no longer exists in a (relatively) affordable car with four doors and a back seat. Meanwhile, the minority who want a manual would likely also prefer a rear-wheel drive option. Truth be told, even most performance-sedan buyers would likely be fine with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. You can, however, get a stick shift for less money in the Subaru WRX, Toyota GR Corolla and Volkswagen Golf R (all are all-wheel drive) and the front-wheel-drive Hyundai Elantra N, if you don’t mind a blue-collar nameplate. That includes the Audi S3, Mercedes AMG CLA 35 and the BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupe, all of which Acura name-drops as Type S rivals, but none of which offers a manual gearbox. Most other cars of comparable size and power share power-distribution duties between all four wheels. Tire roar can get loud, though, on coarse tarmac. ![]() Remarkably, too, this athleticism is achieved with an unexpectedly civil ride – at least on pothole-free California roads. I didn’t specifically go looking for drop-throttle oversteer in the Type S, but it didn’t come to find me either, despite many opportunities along Santa Ynez mountain roads northwest of Los Angeles. One thing a front-wheel-drive sport sedan can’t do is power-drift the rear wheels, though they can be persuaded to lose a little traction if you lift off the throttle sharply in mid-turn. The Type S has a two-litre, 320-horsepower engine, wider tracks, and tires sheltered under flared fenders that add seven centimetres to its body width, as well as custom front suspension to tame the effects of channelling all that power through the same wheels that also have to steer the car. While manual transmission vehicles continue to be axed by manufacturersthe casualties from 2022 include the Hyundai Veloster N and Mitsubishi Miragethere are still 31 vehicles from. Makes sense, though it does seem paradoxical that the Acura’s triple-tailpipe exhaust is louder than the Civic’s, generating five extra horsepower and a fruitier exhaust note, including “pops and bangs” in Sport+ mode.Īvailable only with a six-speed manual transmission, the Type S starts at $55,600, a hefty $11,250 more than the most expensive 1.5-litre, 200-horsepower regular Integra. ![]() So, the Type S is a more upscale, street-driving alternative to the Civic Type R. These email attacks almost always involve some sort of phishing. In 2021 alone, 85% of data breaches involved the human element, with 94% of malware delivered via email. With an ever-rising number of cyberattacks each year, the risk of not educating your employees on cybersecurity awareness only continues to grow.Ĭybercriminals are constantly finding new ways to circumvent the latest defensive tools and technologies, landing themselves in the inboxes and browsers of your employees. If you’re struggling to allocate budget to cybersecurity training, tools or talent, you should think about it through the lens of risk management. Similar to safety incidents, cybersecurity incidents can come with a hefty price tag. Why is Cybersecurity Awareness Important? Delivering the appropriate training to each team is vital to building a cybersecurity awareness program that motivates lasting behavior change. Management of data, permissions and regulations are topics that your IT team needs to know but aren’t necessarily relevant to the rest of your organization. The other is the price – at £159.95 it’s a step away from the excellent value the Pegasus line has usually been known for (the Pegasus 35 is £104.95). ![]() One is the racing stripe, which is a colour called Hot Punch and just, well, not great. ![]() There’s only really two negatives to the shoe, as far as I can tell so far. In many ways, the Pegasus Turbo is exactly what I’d wished the Pegasus 35 was – a lightweight, comfortable but pacy daily trainer that will also be a great choice for longer races for most runners. I was disappointed by the Pegasus 35, which I found too firm to excel on easy runs and too hefty to fly through speedier sessions. I had no concerns about it being too snug or not tight enough to stop the foot slipping around, but it’s worth noting that it’s a roomier fit and if you do want it to be a bit snugger around the foot then maybe go half a size down. The upper is exceptional as well – so lightweight that it virtually disappears when you start running. That’s assuming you, like most people, don’t have a few pairs of the Vaporfly 4% stashed at the back of your wardrobe. The ZoomX foam feels similar to Adidas’s Boost foam, but the shoe is far lighter than a Boost shoe with equivalent amounts of cushioning like the UltraBoost, which only adds to the spring in your step.Īs a result, it’s undoubtedly a good option for marathon or half marathon runners who want more cushioning than that found in a typical racer but don’t want the extra heft or overly soft feel that often comes with cushioning. The bounce in the stride is more noticeable over longer distances. With this shoe I found that, however hard the run felt, glancing down at my watch usually revealed I was running slightly faster than I thought. I took it out for a 90-minute session in the woods – it’s not an ideal trail shoe, but the hot summer had baked Epping Forest dry enough for road shoes – and maintaining a steady-to-fast pace throughout was very comfortable. I thought the Turbo would really excel on long runs and it didn’t disappoint. I did a range of distances – one mile, 400m and 200m reps – and when going all-out on the shorter sprints in particular, the heel-to-toe transition and pop off the toe felt fast and smooth like a racing shoe, only without the firm feel of the ground beneath you that racers give. I slowly increased my speed through my first run in the Turbo and the ride never strayed from being comfortable and bouncy, but I was more surprised by how good they felt on the track the next day. Fry writes in Cubism (1978): "Three female nudes are in various postures, and the blue bird is held by the uppermost figure in other parts of the composition are numerous birds, grapes in a dish on a table, the striped canopy of a Paris cafe, the dome of Sacre-Coeur in Montmartre, and a ship at sea." (Bold added). It is also a short distance from Le Bateau-Lavoir, widely known as the birthplace of Cubism. This popular monument is just up the hill from where Metzinger lived and worked (Rue Lamarck) prior to his move to Meudon around 1912. In the rest of the scene, various items and divers elements are placed, including in the upper center (practically at the highest point of the painting) the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point of the city. On the left half of Metzinger's L'Oiseau Bleu, holding in her right hand a yellow fan (éventail) is a sitting nude who in her left hand holds a mirror into which she gazes. A large steamship can be seen bellowing gaseous vapor from its funnel in the distant sea or ocean, and a smaller boat (or canot) is visible below. Two other birds, in addition to the blue bird and scarlet ibis can be seen in the composition, one of which resembles a green heron. In front of the pyramid appears a shape that resembles a sundial, perhaps meant as the element of time, or 'duration', as the clock placed in the upper right hand corner of his Nu à la cheminée (Nude) of 1910. A mysterious pyramidal shape is seen as if through a porthole to the right of the reclining figure's head, though it remains a matter of speculation whether there exists any relation to the ibis or pyramids of ancient Egypt. ![]() The Ibis is a bird to which the ancient Egyptians paid religious worship and attributed to it a 'virgin purity'. Costume designers for Parisian cabarets such as Le Lido, Folies Bergère, the Moulin Rouge and haute couture houses in Paris during the 1910s used the feathers of the scarlet Ibis in their shows and collections. The reclining figure wearing a necklace shown in the lower center of the canvas is placed next to a pedestal fruit bowl and another bird with the unmistakable coloration of the rare Scarlet ibis ( L'Ibis rouge), a rich symbol for both exoticism and fashion. ![]() The central standing 'foreground' figure is shown affectionately holding in both hands a blue bird (thus the title of the painting). It is a mélange of interior and exterior elements integrated into one of Metzinger's most intriguing and successful compositions." L'Oiseau bleu, writes Joann Moser, uses a wealth of anecdotal detail "which comprises a compendium of motifs found in earlier and later paintings by Metzinger: bathers, fan, mirror, ibis, necklace, a boat with water, foliage and an urban scene. The work represents three nude women in a scene that contains a wide variety of components. L'Oiseau bleu is an oil painting on canvas with dimensions 230 x 196 cm (90.5 by 77.2 in). Now ideally, they’d want to do the lending themselves and keep the whole pie. And by facilitating the loan, Paytm takes home a nice cut. In fact, this could be the only place where you could get yourself a quick loan. This could help them gauge your creditworthiness. If you were a merchant whose transactions were routed through Paytm’s gateway, the company knows a lot about your business. Think merchant loans through partnerships with banks and non-banking financial companies like Clix Capital. But by capturing the P2M segment, Paytm has the opportunity to make money off of its payment gateway and other value-added services on top. When you transfer money to a friend, no intermediary makes money. And that’s the segment that matters.īecause UPI doesn’t make anyone money. The value transacted on its P2M segment has grown by 33% year-on-year for the past 2 years and the total number of merchants have exploded - from 7 million to over 20 million. P2M is when you visit a store and make a payment to the store owner. But it’s the peer-to-merchant segment (P2M) where it’s truly dominant with a 50% share. Now Paytm has a share of 13% in overall UPI payments. But if you had to parse through the super app, and look at the big verticals that bring in money, you’d have to start with UPI - the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), India’s instant payments mechanism. ![]() You can find everything if you wanted to. So, perhaps Paytm is in some ways what many people would call a “super-app.” And in 2016, a surprise move by the Indian government (demonetisation) gave a fillip to digital payments, and through it Paytm.īut, what does the company do really - Are they a digital wallet? Payments bank? E-commerce company (a bet that didn’t quite pan out)? Fantasy sports? Ticketing (part of their commerce and cloud segment)? Mutual funds? Stockbroking? Insurance? You could load money into the wallet and make payments to utility companies - pay electric bills for instance. By 2014, it had become a digital wallet i.e. And while it has come at a cost, Paytm's losses have narrowed a bit in the face of stagnating revenues.Īlright, with that stuff out of the way, let’s look at the business itself - taking a trip all the way back to 2010 when Paytm started as a platform to let people top up their mobile phone balance. Paytm has cut back significantly on those cashback and incentive schemes. ![]() So maybe all this confidence is a good omen for the IPO? And there aren’t the kind of investors who buy today and sell tomorrow. We’re talking about the big guns - asset management companies including the likes of BlackRock and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. Paytm has already wrapped up a significant chunk of the fundraising effort! That’s right, the company has raised ₹8,235 crores from anchor investors. Make no mistake - This is an expensive stock. And that puts the valuation at about $20 billion (₹1,49,000 crores) - 70x its operating revenue of ₹2,109 crores (as of March 2021) - a rather steep premium even compared to its global peers. Paytm is pricing the IPO between ₹2,080–₹2,150 per share. ![]() Out of the ₹18,300 crores Paytm is likely to raise, it will pay ₹10,000 crores to existing investors who will be cashing out their stake.Īnd the balance of ₹8,300 goes straight into Paytm’s account so that it can make a dent in the fintech industry in the years to come. And if you’re wondering why this jump, it’s probably because the company shelved plans to raise a pre-IPO round of ~₹2,000 crores. This is higher than the ₹16,600 crores that it was expected to raise earlier. For example, I've got these two images here that I've created and they're versions of the same image, but one's knocked back a little bit in how bright it is, and the other one's just the regular brightness. What we can do is if we click on any of our image layers, we can actually hide and show those image layers depending on if they're in dark mode. We can go ahead and do this to all of our different elements here, and you'll notice that the image here isn't set up the reason why that's not showing up is because I'm actually going to show you how to also swap out images. I'll click on the input and I might make this text just a little bit darker, so I'll make it it's a light gray, and it's going to reload the preview, and now you can see here instead of being white, which is a little bit too much contrast, I've just knocked that back a little bit to make it more of a light gray. If I click on the "Settings" panel while I click on this description text, you can see here I can override that text color even further at that granular level. What we can do if we want to really tweak this is we can get down into the individual text layers as well, and we can actually override those individual layers on top of the block layer level. Instead of the white background with dark text we've now got a dark background with white text. If I close that off and open up the preview by clicking the "Preview" button in the header, that's loaded up an HTML preview of our email, and you can see here that nothing has changed yet the reason for that is we've got this new toggle up here which is called "Show Dark Mode Overrides", and if I click on that, you can see here it's now triggered that dark mode preview to kick in. I can put in the hashed HEX value for white text, and to give some contrast I'm going to also override the background color of the row by clicking on the row layer, and putting in a darker background color here that's in the "Override Background Color" input. Instead of being this sort of dark text, I can make it white text. For example, I'll show you what this looks like if we go to this block here and go to this column, we can actually apply a text color override to that column. Okay, today we're just going to be looking at dark mode overrides and what that means is we can actually specifically or choose different colors and overrides or settings for each of these layers and design elements, which will only kick in if the user is using a device to read their emails that's in dark mode.įor example, if I wanted to ensure that this block here didn't come up as this color on dark mode, what I can do is just click on that layer, open up my "Settings" panel and down here at the bottom you'll notice a new section called "Dark Mode Overrides", and this is available on a bunch of different layer types you can apply this to: sections, columns, text layers, button layers, image layers and you'll see they all have different types of overrides on them. As I said, I've already designed this email in Figma, but if you do want to add more components, or different components, or build your own again, we do have other tutorials which go through that process. To get started, we just have to right-click anywhere, go down to "Plugins" and click on "Emailify", and this is going to open up the Figma plugin that we just installed. ![]() This Figma tutorial is just going to be showing you how to add additional dark mode specific style overrides to that email design. ![]() This Figma tutorial won't be going over all those details again, and I'm assuming that you've already figured out how to design and export these HTML emails from Figma. I'm just going to jump back into my Figma file, and if you haven't already looked at the other Emailify Figma tutorials that we have on YouTube, we've got another tutorial that shows you how to actually design these HTML emails in Figma and export them. ![]() If you click on the "Install" button on the right-hand side, once it says "Installed", you'll be ready to go. The first thing we need to do if you haven't already done so, is go to the Figma Community and search for the word "Emailify", and if you hit enter that will pop right up.
